Earlier this year my piece Verbatim was accepted into the 2020 ArtFields Competition, which is held in Lake City, SC. Because of COVID they had to cancel the competition and made it a virtual exhibit only. Since it was cancelled they allowed everyone who was accepted to submit their piece again, if they wanted. It had to go through the same judging with all the new submissions. Only 373 entries out of more then a 1000 were accepted.

There are multiple locations around the little town of Lake City, where your artwork could be hanging. It could be in one of their galleries or in one of the restaurants or shops. From what I understand, the local businesses get to pick and choose which piece of artwork they would like to display in their shop. I don’t know the exact location yet, but I will find out in the new year.

All the artwork will be on display from April 23 – May 1, 2021.
