 I follow a few different Weimaraner Rescues on Facebook and have worked with The Weimaraner Rescue of the South for the past several years. It makes me so happy to see how much they care for and help these dogs that I would like to help them.

Looking for Love: The Lovebug Story was accepted into the Mosaic Arts International 2014 exhibit.  This year it will be at the Williams Tower Gallery in Houston, Texas.  The exhibit runs from April 24 - May 30, 2014.


Over 300 entries were received from artists in 12 countries. The jurors carefully considered every piece and discussed the submissions at length. The jury selected 40 artists for inclusion in the MAI exhibition.

I'm back from SAMA Conference in Tacoma, WA.  I had such a wonderful time seeing old friends, meeting new ones and finally meeting some of my online friends.  It was very exciting to see my mosaic "The Guardian" hanging in the Museum of Glass.......

Papiyon and Sun Bug will be part of the "Back to the Garden" exhibit at Ciel Gallery + Mosaic Studio in Charlotte, NC


The exhibition will run April 5 - June 1, 2013, with an Opening Reception on Friday, April 5, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. An additional reception will be hosted during the Gallery Crawl on Friday, May 3, 6:00 - 9:00.

Safe Travels -


The Guardian is on it's way to The Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA.   It traveled 3200 miles away from home.  This is my first time building a crate and sending such a heavy (132lbs) piece across country. I'm a little nervous - but I think my crate was pretty heavy duty.

I am so excited to announce that my mosaic "The Guardian",

has been selected to be included in the Mosaic Arts International 2013 exhibition at The Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA.

They received over 300 entries from artists in 12 countries.

The jury selected 46 pieces for inclusion in the MAI exhibition.


My mosaic will be on display from January 26 – May 5, 2013.

I found out Friday that I was accepted into the Walt Disney World's Festival of the Masters - Emerging Master art festival. This is a new section they opened for every artist to apply for. The main show "Festival of the Masters" you have to have won a 1st, 2nd ir 3rd place ribbon in a juried art show within the past 4 years just to be allowed to apply for that festival.

I'm pretty excited!!  I just got my May/June copy of Glass Art Magazine and my "Dragonfly" mosaic was used in an article in the magazine.  It's is an article about SAMA's new website.

I just got some wonderful news!!  Last night at the Closing Reception of the Mosaic Arts Internationl exhibit in

Lexington, KY - My mosaic "Dragonfly" SOLD!!!


I'm very excited!  This was the first time I entered this exhibit

and it was my first time going to the SAMA conference!
